Royal Malaysian Navy’s combat helicopter makes an emergency landing in Lumut

This is the first accident to happen in 30 years.

LUMUT – An AS555 SN Fennec helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing at a navy base in Lumut.

This is the first incident in 30 years since the establishment of the Royal Malaysian Navy’s (TLDM) Air Squadron KD Rajawali, which is based in Lumut

The Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) owns six of these helicopters along with six Super Lynx Combat helicopters, of all which possess a perfect flight record.
