Rotting Body Believed To Belong To Woman Who Went Missing 5 Days Ago Found At Kuching Parking Lot

Police have not confirmed whether the body was indeed hers.

Police have confirmed that the body belonged to 24-year-old Marianna Liew Ai Jia, reported China Press.


A foul stench led to a horrifying discovery of a body inside a car at a multi-storey parking in Kuching yesterday (Oct 29).

According to Utusan Sarawak, the corpse was found at around 3pm and police believe that the victim had died several days ago.

Following the discovery, a forensic team and health officials were dispatched to the scene, where the area was cordoned off for investigations.

Body reportedly belonged to missing woman

It is believed that the body belonged to 24-year-old Marianna Liew Ai Jia, who was reported missing since last Saturday (Oct 25).

According to a police statement, she was last seen leaving her home in Tabuan Laru, Kuching, Sarawak, at around 3.30pm and was dressed in a white t-shirt and a black skirt.

However, police have yet to confirm whether the body is indeed hers.
