Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today announced that the price of RON95 petrol will be reduced to RM1.99 per litre under a new targeted subsidy policy.
The rakyat-focused initiative aims to ease the financial burden for more than 18 million Malaysians, including motorcyclists, car owners, and gig economy workers.

The lower petrol price is made possible through a targeted subsidy approach aimed at ensuring the benefits reach those who need it most.
