Since its incremental increase to a whopping RM78 million, many have wondered who would be the lucky one to claim the lion’s share of the money.
And it seems that one extremely blessed individual has walked away with a giant portion of the prize money.
Johorian wins RM73mil from Toto Jackpot
According to Sports Toto, the winning ticket was sold at Johor Bahru, which belonged to a punter who placed a Standard Bet at its outlet in Taman Setia Indah.
As such, the punter walked away with RM73,125,073.90 in winnings.
The remaining prize money was split among two other punters, with one winning RM2,089,287.20 after buying the winning ticket atTaman Sri Gombak, Batu Caves, Selangor, while the other won RM3,323,866.60 with a ticket bought at Taman Plaza, Petaling Jaya.
The Sports Toto Supreme 6/58 has held multiple records over the course of several years for its massive jackpot amount, with the highest being RM121 million being split among more than 60 winners.
