Whenever one looks for a unit to rent, they would often opt for one that is comfortable, has a strategic location, and plenty of amenities at an affordable price.
One rental unit in the heart of KL recently raised eyebrows with its unusual furniture arrangement, where netizens were left baffled by it.
Single room with bed, cupboard, & sink all inside
The listing was posted on the website mudah.my two days ago, where several photos showing the interior of the unit were attached with it.
In the pictures, a single bed was placed on the far right corner of the room with a large cupboard placed next to it.
Not far from the bed was a sink fixed against the wall and a small open shelving unit placed on the floor beside it.
According to the listing’s description, the 200 square feet unit is located at Bukit Bintang and a five-walk minute away from the Maluri MRT and LRT stations.
As for its rental fee, it was priced at RM450 a month and interested parties have to pay a deposit from as low as RM100 before moving in.
The listing also claimed that the unit had several amenities such as a swimming pool, sauna, playground, and barbeque area.
Netizens in disbelief
The listing eventually found its way to Threads, where netizens were mind blown by it and wondered how one could live in such a tiny space.
‘I laughed until my stomach hurt when I saw the photos. Like this also can ah?’
‘Why turn the kitchen into a room? Pity the tenants who have to live in the unit and sleep alone in the kitchen.’
Others joked that the unit was an imitation of a studio unit, except that it was on a much lower budget.
