A man was left feeling helpless yet amused at the same time after he stumbled across an RM1 note which was shrunk to a size you’d think was meant for animals’ use after it was placed into the dryer.
RM1 note shrinks by more than half of man’s hand size
In the humorous 6-second clip shared on TikTok by @guagamautau13, it showed him holding a RM1 banknote which had decreased drastically in size.
To give viewers a sense of how small the note had become, he placed the note on his palm, which showed the RM1 not being able to cover a quarter of his palm.
In the in-text caption, the OP gave a gentle reminder to viewers to always check the pockets of their clothing before chucking them into the dryer.
He also expressed amused relief over the matter, writing, “I still can laugh over RM1. If it was RM50, I’d probably cry.”
Netizens tickled by ‘mini’ RM1
The clip, which has since garnered close to 1 million views since it was first posted on Apr 5, saw netizens chipping in with humorous suggestions over what can be done with the RM1.
One suggested that the OP turn the RM1 note into a keychain and sell it off for RM5.
Another told the OP to sell the RM1 note to a money collector for RM1,000 on the basis that it was “limited edition”.
Meanwhile, one joked that the OP could now say he literally had “small” change on him due to the RM1 note’s size.
