M’sian Man Who Paid RM1.60 For RM1.6K Pufferfish Returns To Pay Remaining Amount

He's back...for a good reason.
Last week, we reported of a once-of-a-lifetime blunder that would haunt aquarium owners for years, where a customer paid RM1.60 for a redline pufferfish that actually cost RM1,600.

Following the incident, the aquarium owner, who acknowledged that their staff had been careless, took to social media to appeal to the customer to step forward and settle the remaining amount.

Thankfully, the aquarium owner’s pleas didn’t fall on deaf ears as the customer eventually caught wind of the mistake.

In a Facebook post shared by the aquarium store, it wrote that the incident transpired when the customer unwittingly paid RM1.60 instead of RM1,600 via his Touch ’n Go e-wallet for the redline pufferfish.

Fortunately, the customer chose to do the right thing and returned to the store on Sept 20 to rectify the problem. The aquarium store added that the matter “is currently in the midst of being resolved.”

It also praised the customer for his honesty and thanked the public for their concern over the matter since it first went viral.

This incident is a beautiful reminder that honesty and integrity still stand strong in our society. We are truly grateful.

“We sincerely thank all our friends and customers for your care, concern, and continued support. Your trust means the world to us.”

On the other hand, however, two young women from Singapore are now being slammed by netizens after they allegedly stole several clothing from a store in JB:
