Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana), the operator of Rapid KL services, has announced a temporary suspension of early renewals for the My50 pass.
This system upgrade aims to enhance the My50 pass sales platform to accommodate the growing number of users.

Only early renewals will be affected
In a statement sent to WeirdKaya, Prasarana said that the suspension will be in effect from December 23, 2024, to January 31, 2025, at all Rapid KL rail, BRT, and bus service counters.
It applies specifically to early renewals, which allow customers to renew their passes up to seven days before the current pass expires.

This means customers can still renew their My50 passes at all service counters without interruptions, provided they fully utilize their passes until the expiration date.
Besides, customers can still purchase new My50 passes as usual without any interruptions at all service counters.
