Penang Woman Passes Away While Pulling Car Over To The Curb After Feeling Unwell

The cause of death has yet to be determined.
A 67-year-old woman in Penang passed away inside her Mercedes-Benz while she was attempting to pull her car over to the curb at noon yesterday (Mar 24) as she felt ill.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the woman was identified as Zhou Huijun (transliteration), who lived in Gelugor on Penang Island.

Tried to stop car by roadside

The Chinese daily reported that based on preliminary investigations, Zhou was driving alone along Jalan Raja Uda in Butterworth when she reportedly felt unwell.

When she tried to pull the vehicle over to the roadside, she reportedly lost control of it and passed out, causing the tyre to hit the curb.

Paramedics later rushed to the scene upon receiving a report about the incident but found that Zhou had already died when they arrived.

Police eventually turned up to conduct investigations and Zhou’s body was sent to Seberang Jaya Hospital for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
