Bus drivers are often unsung heroes, deserving recognition for their compassionate and dedicated service.
Recently, a Rapid Penang bus driver captured the internet’s attention for his selfless act of helping a disabled (OKU) passenger in a wheelchair, even going so far as to help him safely cross the road while on duty.
This video came to light after a fellow passenger from the same bus, Cecelia, who witnessed the moment, shared it with a Facebook group with the intention of appreciation.
In the video, which was less than a minute long, the bus driver was seen helping the passenger get off the bus and cross the road.
“For his professionalism in handling his responsibilities, his commitment to delivering the best service possible is truly praiseworthy. I want to express my gratitude for his great efforts in keeping passengers safe and secure,” Cecelia expressed.
She also took the opportunity to personally thank the bus driver for his outstanding conduct.
The video quickly gone viral, amassing over 4.6k likes and eliciting more than 300 comments from netizens, all praising the bus driver’s compassionate actions.
