A man from Pakistan bled to death after suffering severe injuries caused by falling glass at an office building in Kuala Lumpur.
According to NST, the 44-year-old victim was throwing glass windows into a rubbish bin located below Wisma Genting yesterday (Feb 25).
Wangsa Maju district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Lazim Ismail said police received a report regarding the freak accident at 4.44pm.
“While disposing the windows, the glass shattered and struck the victim’s arm, causing massive bleeding.
“He was later pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel who arrived in an ambulance,” he said in a statement.
The body was sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital forensic unit for a post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death.
Police have classified the case as sudden death.
