A motorcyclist riding without a helmet was recently stopped by two traffic police officers, but his unexpected reaction to receiving a summons ended up making them laugh on the spot.
According to a video posted by VideoViral Malaysia on Facebook, the man was seen reading his summons by the roadside after being pulled over.
‘Only RM4.50?’
After the uncle received the summons, instead of freaking out (like most of us would), he was heard muttering, “Oh, it’s only RM4.50. So cheap!”
What made it even more bizarre was the fact that the uncle even thanked the police officers for the summon before heading back to his motorcycle, leaving the officers amused over his unexpected reaction.

Since the clip’s release, netizens speculated that the uncle most likely misread the time he received the summon (4.50pm) as the summon amount, which led him to believe that it was only RM4.50.
Despite the presumed blunder, netizens were nevertheless tickled by the uncle’s calm demeanor, with the OP writing in the video caption: “This uncle very steady. Got fined but still happy. Said it’s so cheap, even the police laughed!”
Amused reactions
After the video went viral, many netizens chimed in with their comments and poked fun at the situation.
‘He’s happy because he’s not going to pay it anyway… just leave it there.’

‘Where got a RM4.50 summon haha.’

‘Cheap or not, wrong is still wrong. A summons still needs to be paid. But people don’t pay it on the spot — they wait for a discount first! Cheap, my foot.”
