A Malaysian influencer and cosmetic brand founder has sparked heated debate after putting up her Yamaha RXZ Catalyzer motorcycle for a jaw-dropping RM1 million.
In a video uploaded to social media, the influencer, Farhana, revealed that she purchased the rare motorcycle a year ago for RM146,000.
‘New old stock’
Despite owning it for a year, the bike has yet to be registered and remains in its original untouched condition, known in collector terms as “New Old Stock” (NOS).
She stressed that this particular RXZ Catalyzer is the only one of its kind in Malaysia — a claim that she believes justifies the million-ringgit price tag.
Ordinarily, the Yamaha RXZ Catalyzer sells between RM40,000 to RM80,000 depending on condition and modifications.
Her listed price, however, is more than ten times higher than the market value, prompting waves of skepticism online.
Reactions
Many netizens were quick to flood the comments, saying the RM1 million price tag was far from reasonable. Some joked that at such a cost, it might as well come with a house or luxury car.
‘Don’t spoil the market price lah. You’re not a player. Players like us RXZ owners suffer when spare part prices go up.’

‘Bought at RM146k but selling for RM1 million. Isn’t this like a rip-off?”

‘Buy a motorbike for RM1 million? I’d rather buy a house, it’s way more worth it than a RM1 million bike.’
