A man in Kelantan was accused on committed a heinous crime towards his own flesh and blood and was subsequently hauled to court to face charges for his alleged act.
To top it all off, his reason for the entire incident was that it was purely an accident and that he had no intention of doing it.

According to NST, the 44-year-old man, who was unnamed, was brought to the Kota Bahru Sessions Court yesterday (Jul 28) to face two charges of raping and sexually assaulting his own daughter, who’s now 14 years old and 11 months.
According to the charge sheet, he was accused of committing the act at a house in Kampung Sungai Sam in Kuala Krai at around 5am last Sunday (Jul 21).
He pleaded not guilty to the charges when it was read out before Judge Zulkifli Abllah.
The charges were framed under Section 376(3) of the Penal Code for rape, which provides for a maximum jail sentence of 30 years and 10 cane strokes if convicted.
In court, the accused, who was unrepresented and has three kids, pleaded for a lighter sentence, claiming that he didn’t mean to rape his own daughter.
However, Deputy public prosecutor Ahmad Faiz Fitri Mohamad objected and asked the court not to grant bail to the accused given the serious nature of the case and that the victim was his own daughter.
The court eventually denied bail and fixed Aug 28 for case mention.
