There will be no toll discounts on highways during the upcoming National Day celebrations, Works Minister Alexander Nanta Linggi has confirmed.
Expect regular toll rates
According to Sin Chew Daily, speaking at a ceremony introducing the SMART unlimited pass today, he said toll charges on National Day will remain the same as any other regular day.

He explained that discounts are only offered during festive seasons, not for National Day.
This means road users can expect regular toll rates on Aug 31, with no special concessions for the public holiday.
