A video showing a black Myvi parked at a bend inside a highway rest stop has sparked outrage online — especially since there was a perfectly empty parking spot just a few steps ahead.
According to the video, the Myvi was left at a tight curve, making it nearly impossible for large vehicles like lorries to pass through.
One visibly frustrated lorry driver was seen struggling to navigate around the car, which led to a massive traffic jam at the area.
“The road was already narrow, now totally blocked because of one car!”
‘Why park here when there’s a spot in front?’
What made things worse was that the Myvi owner had plenty of proper parking spaces available ahead but still chose to stop right at the curve, blocking others.
Many netizens slammed the act as inconsiderate and dangerous, calling it another case of Malaysia’s infamous “park anywhere culture”.
The video was first uploaded by TikTok user @kuntaktintir30370297, and showed the jam unfolding at a rest area along the East Coast Expressway (LPT).

“There’s literally a free parking spot just in front.”
Netizens: No common sense
The Myvi’s reckless parking didn’t just inconvenience lorry drivers — it caused a chain reaction, blocking multiple vehicles and jamming up the entire rest area exit.
Netizens were quick to call it out:
“I think the owner is just there watching… but he’s too scared to come out. Have you been waiting long for him to move the car?”

Many expresses frustration, saying they no longer give leeway to inconsiderate drivers. They suggest towing the car immediately.

Some even called for stricter enforcement against such behaviour, saying it reflects poor road etiquette and a lack of public awareness.
