Family members of local singer Muhammad Nidza Afham Mokhtar are pleading for the public’s help in tracking him down after he went missing last night (Aug 13).
The disappearance of 23-year-old singer, who’s popularly known by his stage name Nidza Afham, was first brought to light in a now-viral post by his younger sister Aufahanie on X (formerly Twitter).
Nidza Afham missing during jog in Klang
According to a chronology of events provided by Aufahanie in the post, Nidza went out for a jog at the Sultan Suleiman Stadium in Klang at around 7.58pm.

At 11.53pm, Nidza’s girlfriend tried calling him but it went unanswered, raising fears that something was amiss. When his family went to track down his last known location at the Sg. Klang bridge at approximately 1.50am, they found his handphone and wallet lying on the ground.
Aufahanie added that Nidza’s ATM card was missing from his wallet and that it contained no cash. She also said that checks on his phone found no proof to suggest that he had problems or was involved with loan sharks.
She also begged the public to help the family out in finding him.
Assalamualaikum, Never thought I would do this, but I need the help of fellow Malaysians. My brother, Nidza Afham is missing.

No updates so far
Scoop reported that Nidza’s family filed a police report at 4am and carried out checks at nearby mosques, hospitals, and clinics in hopes of getting more information but to no avail so far.
The authorities have also yet to provide an update on the case.
