Malaysian YouTubers are widely known for uploading outrageous videos to gain traction and followers, sometimes through questionable means. However, a channel named Wire Putus decided to take things to the next level in what many called a “publicity stunt”.
The 11-minute video titled “Throwing RM10K to the Public” shows a man carrying a backpack stuffed with RM1 banknotes and begins to scatter it all across the road in front of Pavilion. He was believed to be accompanied by his team, with one recording the entire incident.
His team also encouraged curious passers-by to take the money by shouting, “Kasi ambik, kasi ambik!” (Please take! Please take!). Not regarding their safety, the crowd began to grab the money frantically in the middle of the busy road.

A security guard then approached the team and asked what they were doing, to which they replied by saying that they were free money to the public. In response, the security guard told them to scram as they were encroaching on private property.
“This place is private property. You can’t do this here!”

While the video has done exceptionally well in viewership, many netizens were disappointed to see such video content being produced in Malaysia.
