JOHOR BAHRU – A Twitter user @AbangCJ shared two photos of an uncle walking a giant tortoise on a leash at his neighbourhood in Johor. These photos went viral on the Internet overnight and sparked heated discussion among the netizens!
According to China Press, the topless uncle tied the giant tortoise with a rope and took it for a walk at Eco Summer estate residential area.

AbangCJ’s Twitter post blew up and garnered over 30K likes and 18K retweets after showing the uncle walking his massive tortoise in his neighbourhood!
Just a few days after the tweet went viral, another closer shots of the giant tortoise were revealed! It’s GIGANTIC and it’s said to be a hundred years old！

As can be seen in the photos above, the uncle accompanied by a kid who tugged helplessly at the giant tortoise’s leash in what seems to be the same residential area.
Sharp-eyed netizens recognise the giant tortoise belongs to Sulcuta species, one of the world’s largest tortoise species.
What we can see from those photos is how much the uncle loves his tortoise. Whether you own a dog or a cat, one thing is for sure, owning a pet comes with great obligations.
