For every Malaysian, the Perodua Myvi is the undisputed ‘King of the Road’ regardless of the ever-changing automotive world thanks to its unusual ability to achieve unimaginable feats.
This time around, the Myvi proved once again why it’s hailed as royalty following a clip which showed the car fearlessly powering its way through a river in Sabah, leaving onlookers astounded.

In a TikTok clip shared by @laychannel05, it showed a white Myvi casually driving through a river called Sungai Moyog located within the Penampang district in Kota Kinabalu.
While most would become apprehensive at the thought of driving a vehicle through raging waters, the Myvi driver didn’t seem unfazed by it but simply drove on calmly.
As the OP (and us too) watched on with bated breath, thankfully the Myvi managed to get across to the other side of the river without any issues, allowing everyone to heave a sigh of relief.
‘The King never disappoints’
The clip, which has garnered over 60,000 views thus far, has since left netizens amused and amazed by how the Myvi is constantly able to pull off such remarkable feats that no other vehicles are able to do.
‘The Myvi and Kelisa rarely disappoints.’
‘Thank goodness it got to the other side (of the river). If not, we all will be busy looking for the King.’
Meanwhile, some tried to figure out what enabled the Myvi to remain stable throughout its crossing of the river, with one theorising that the car could have been transporting heavy objects which allowed it to withstand the river’s current.
