In our everyday life, we all know someone who’s a bit of a rule-breaker, and it seems Malaysians are no exception to this common experience.
Recently, a Malaysian woman shared a video on her TikTok account @shazwaaa, exposing a woman’s unethical act of casually picking out grapes she doesn’t like, swapping them with the good ones, and placing them in her box.

M’sian woman caught swapping grapes
In the 14-seconds video, a woman was caught on act of picking out grapes, swapping the with a good ones.
In the video, Shazwa casually described how she switched out the grapes she didn’t like for some from a different box, handpicking her favorites until her container was completely filled.
Not only did she audaciously commit this act, but she also did it in front of her son, setting a rather poor example.

Furthermore, Shazwa also pointed out in the video that the woman had also given some grapes to her child to eat.
She was unfazed despite being captured on cam
Speaking to the OP, Shazwa revealed that incident recently took place at Aeon Big Kluang in Johor.
Regarding whether she confronted the woman, the witness chose not to engage directly but instead took the responsible step of informing two Aeon Big Kluang staff regarding this matter.

“Surprisingly, even though the woman was being recorded, she appeared oblivious to the presence of the camera and continued her actions without restraint,” Syazwa said.
Syazwa went on to emphasize that the grapes were already pre-packaged based on weight, and the woman’s actions not only disrupted the store’s packaging but also had the potential to inconvenience other customers.
She also commented under her video, urging people to take this incident as a lesson and to practice “common sense” in our daily lives.

Netizens criticized this woman’s selfish act
The clip, which has now garnered over 1.8 million views as of the time of writing and thousands of comments, saw netizens share their opinions on the woman’s selfish actions.
“It’s really frustrating to see that. We buy without having the chance to open anything, at most we can do is just look and choose the good ones.”

“Even though these grapes are sold by weight, there’s a fixed price, so you can’t just switch them.”

“Oh man, in a situation like this, it’s better to go for the ones that haven’t been weighed. Who knows if the weighed ones are accurate or not?”

“Next time report to the staff on duty.”

Let’s all remember to keep it fair and square at the supermarket, because honesty is the best policy, especially in front of the little ones.
