With the Ramadan month officially in motion, hundreds of Malaysians are heading over to nearby bazaars to buy food for iftar (breaking of fast).
However, along with it also comes the problem of traffic congestion, which reaches its height during peak hours and is further worsened by illegal parking.
M’sians slam bazaar goers for blocking traffic by parking at bus stop
In a TikTok clip shared by @warga.wilayah, it showed hundreds of Malaysians heading towards a Ramadan bazaar in Wangsa Maju.
But instead of parking their vehicles at designated areas, hundreds of motorcycles were seen being left at a bus stop with numerous cars passing by and several RapidKL buses parked at the roadside.

As a result of the indiscriminate parking, the road was further narrowed and cars were forced to carefully navigate their way without colliding into the parked motorcycles, while the RapidKL buses were essentially “trapped” in their place.
In the comment section, netizens criticised those who parked their motorcycles illegally at an area that wasn’t meant for them.
‘Why are the motorcycles parked there? How are the RapidKL buses going to move?’

‘Next time please prepare parking if you want to have a bazaar by the roadside. Pity those who have to brave the jams while returning home to break fast.’

‘Third world mentality.’

If you’re looking to visit a Ramadan bazaar, make sure you park your vehicle at the proper place so that it doesn’t cause inconvenience to others!
