When Malaysians mention the “gotong-royong” spirit, they really mean it — even when it comes to moving an entire car.
A group of people in Putra Heights, Selangor, recently banded together to physically lift and move a red Perodua Axia that was double-parked and blocking another vehicle’s way.
Moved Axia after owner failed to show up
According to a TikTok video posted by @alianadhierah, the driver of a Toyota Vios was trapped after the Axia double-parked right in front of it without leaving any contact number.
Despite honking for more than an hour, there was no sign of the car owner.
With no other options left, a group of bystanders decided to take matters into their own hands.
About eight men gathered around the Axia, coordinated their strength, and successfully shifted the car away to clear the Vios’ path.

The video shows the teamwork in action, with several men bending down to lift the vehicle while others guided and cheered them on.
Owner only showed up after police arrived
Later, police officers arrived at the scene.
It was only then that the owner finally came down from the second floor around 3pm, according to comments by the OP.
By that time, however, it proved to be too late as police issued the Axia owner a summon.

‘Park properly lah next time!’
The video quickly went viral, drawing comments from amused and annoyed Malaysians alike.
Some joked that the car’s owner should’ve been carried along with the car too, while others said this incident should be a reminder to park responsibly and always leave a contact number when double-parking.
