The much-anticipated concerts by Lauv in Kuala Lumpur are off the table. Yep, you read that right.
The American-Latvian singer, Lauv, had fans buzzing with excitement for his upcoming shows on September 6th and 7th as part of his ‘Between Albums Tour.’
This tour was set to span from Tokyo to Manila. Lucky fans in KL even scored an extra show when the first one sold out instantly.
Sadly, fans were hit with a bummer when posts started popping up showing an email from Live Nation Malaysia. Apparently, due to “unforeseen circumstances,” the concerts are cancelled.

The ticketing partner, GoLive Asia, is processing refunds. But here’s the catch – they won’t be including the ticket fee and booking charges.
So, it’s a bit of a double blow for fans who not only miss out on a great concert, but also lose some cash.

Fans expressed their disappointment on social media, with some speculating why the concert might have been cancelled.

As of now, there’s no official public comment from Lauv or Live Nation Malaysia about this.
Like all of Lauv’s fans in Malaysia, we’re keeping our fingers crossed, hoping that he’ll come to perform for us in the future. Until then, his music on replay should keep us company.
