The much-anticipated Joji concerts in Kuala Lumpur has been called off.
Today (29 Nov), the Japanese-Australian singer Joji shared a heartbreaking news on his Instagram story regarding the cancellation of his concert in several countries, including Malaysia, due to health reasons.
“Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it to my upcoming shows in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Hong Kong due to health reasons. I will be back I promise!” Joji said through his post.

Malaysia was slated to be one of the final stops in Joji’s long Pandemonium World Tour 2023 before its finale.

This news is an absolute shocker for Malaysian fans, as the show was canceled just one day before its scheduled date, supposed to be held tomorrow (30 Nov).
The ticket refund process will be announced soon
On the other hand, Live Nation Malaysia, the concert organizers, took to their Instagram account to officially announce the cancellation of the concert, providing details about the announcement and the ticket refund process.
“We regret to announce that Joji will not be able to continue his performance for his upcoming Pandemonium Asia show in Kuala Lumpur due to health reasons.” the wrote in their post.
The organizers assured that they will provide details about ticket refunds for those who have already bought concert tickets soon
They apologized for the inconvenience caused by Joji’s canceled performance in Kuala Lumpur and appreciate everyone’s understanding during this unexpected situation.
M’sian fans are disappointed
Fans were hit with disappointment upon seeing this post, as the show was canceled just one day before the concert.
In the comment section, some fans revealed that they had traveled from far away with excitement to attend, only to be disappointed because the concert had been canceled.
“I just reached Kuala Lumpur last night all the way from Kuching, bro.”

“We are flying over to KL because my mom wants to see Joji, but this had to happen.”

“I flew from Indonesia for this, and all my accommodations can’t be refunded.”

“It’s literally tomorrow. Why is this so last-minute?”

“This is so heartbreaking.”

While other ticket buyers are requesting the organizers to reschedule the concert rather than opting for refunds.
“Please just reschedule instead of refunding.”
