Starting Feb 9, Malaysians aged 18 and above will receive a one-off RM100 payment under the Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) aid programme.

This initiative, part of the MADANI government’s effort to support citizens with the rising cost of living, was announced earlier by Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
RM100 aid credited via MyKad
According to MOF, The RM100 will be credited directly to eligible individuals through their MyKad.
Recipients can use the amount at participating retail outlets and vendors that support the SARA initiative.
Open to all citizens aged 18 and above
This payout is not limited to existing monthly SARA recipients. Any Malaysian citizen aged 18 and above with a valid MyKad will be eligible.
