Malaysian YouTuber Zukie Mohamad is proving that there’s no shame in honest work.
With content gigs slowing down, he recently picked up a part-time job as a security guard and he’s not afraid to talk about it.
During a viral TikTok video, Zukie shared that he hasn’t been getting any job offers during Ramadhan, so instead of waiting around, he decided to do something productive.
During Ramadan, there aren’t many gigs, so I’ll do a part-time job,” he explained.
The job pays him RM1,700 a month, and while it’s not a fortune, he sees it as a way to contribute to society.
“We take care of the area, and we take care of the building for others.”
Zukie, who started his YouTube journey in 2015, has since built a massive following of over 1.9 million subscribers.
While he’s still active online, he’s showing that he’s not above taking on a side job when needed—even if it means swapping his camera for a security uniform.
At the end of the day, work is work, and Zukie seems to prefer earning an honest living over waiting for opportunities to come his way.
