Story behind the trip
Gabriella shared that the trip from Marudi Wharf to Kampung Mulu took six hours by water.
Explaining the necessity of the unusual transport method, she revealed that her seven-year-old Axia, now fully paid off, has been her loyal companion in Kuching.
With no gas stations or repair shops in Kampung Mulu, she decided to bring the car home to serve her elderly family members.
Our family business provides heavy goods transport services via waterways, including vehicles, and we also offer Mulu tourism packages,” she wrote.
Gabriella clarified that the cost of transporting vehicles is calculated based on weight and size, typically under RM5,000.
She added that they have even transported trucks using larger steel longboats in the past.
