Be careful where you step because even the most harmless everyday items can turn into unexpected horror props.
A Malaysian woman recently shared her painful experience on Threads, where she accidentally stepped on a fallen three-pin plug, and the head of the plug went straight into her foot.
The pin actually pierced deep into her sole, causing her to bleed profusely.
It felt like something out of Final Destination,” she joked.
Plug’s sharp pin went straight into her sole
In her post, the woman explained that she was carrying a lot of items while walking down the stairs, which distracted her from noticing the plug she had dropped earlier.

Without realising, she stepped right onto it and the next thing she knew, one of the plug pins jabbed into her foot.
It was a stupid mistake, but I’m lucky it wasn’t worse,” she said.
Despite the pain, she immediately pulled the plug out, wrapped her foot with cotton pads, dabbed on some antiseptic (alcohol-based), and rushed to seek medical attention.
The bleeding just wouldn’t stop,” she wrote, adding that she’s thankful our feet have three layers of skin to absorb impact — or else it could’ve been a lot messier.
Netizens wince in shared pain
Her post quickly went viral, with many netizens wincing just from reading her account.
Some said they could practically feel the pain through the screen, while others were shocked by how something so small could lead to such a serious injury.
The victim even joked:
If you didn’t pull it out, you probably could’ve just charged your phone directly from your foot.”
