Last weekend, Malaysians were left reeling with shock and outrage after a viral clip showed a man punching a female driver after she allegedly ran her car into his kid while his family were crossing the road in Senawang, Seremban.
As a result of the violent assault, the female driver sustained bruises to her ribs on the right side and swelling at the back of her head, as well as damages to her car, reported NST.
Sister of M’sian woman who was punched by man speaks out
Following the assault, the sister of the female driver took to her TikTok account to shed further light on the aftermath of the incident.

In the post, she said the man’s wife had pleaded with her sister (the victim) to withdraw the police report for the sake of their children as they would no longer have anyone to care for them if her husband lost his job as a soldier.
However, she refused to do so, adding that the man’s family allegedly didn’t apologise when her sister was hospitalised.
“My sister is also a single mother without a husband. So who will take care of her children? She was not only humiliated in public, but also suffered swelling in her abdomen and head, while her car door was damaged during the incident.

The victim’s sister also slammed the man for resorting to violence instead of trying to resolve the matter amicably.
We don’t want to say anything more. As a uniformed law enforcement officer, you should be protecting society, not treating the people as your enemies.
“No matter how much you plead, my sister will not withdraw the case,” she wrote.
Man currently out on bail
As for the man, he was later arrested but eventually got released on bail after police took his statement on Sunday (Mar 30).

Seremban district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Hatta Che Din said the case was referred to Bukit Aman as the man was a soldier.
“We are speeding things up. As this involves a public servant, we aim to solve it in two weeks,” he added.
