Some ideas, while they may sound brilliant, are best left untested.
A Malaysian netizen recently went viral after trying out a “life hack” that didn’t quite go according to plan.
Thinking she had cracked the code for transporting soupy takeaway noodles in a car, she decided to hang the plastic bag from the car’s grab handle by using a pair of chopsticks.
A soupy disaster
In a Facebook post that quickly gained attention, the OP shared two photos — one showing the initial setup with the noodle bag dangling mid-air from a pair of chopsticks acting as the ‘handle’, and another showing the aftermath: soup, noodles, and regret splattered all over the car seat.
I thought I was smart for coming up with this method. Not even 2 minutes into the drive, it fell and spilled all over the car seat.”

Not only does she have to clean the mess, a huge sum of money also had to be forked out to get the car seat washed. Ouch.
Netizens have a field day with comments
Of course, the comment section was flooded with jokes and advice from netizens:
‘You didn’t think of using the seat hook meh?‘

‘Just tie it up and place it on the floor mat lah…why so stubborn and hang it instead?’

‘Failure is the mother of success. Try a few more rounds and you’ll get it right. Worst case? Just wash the car a few more times.’

Safe to say, the method went from “life hack” to “lesson learned” real quick.
