M’sian Woman Tears Up After Buying 1st Car For Her Dad Despite Earning Only RM2,000

She doesn’t even have a car for herself.
A touching video of a Malay woman crying tears of joy after buying a car for her father has warmed the hearts of many online.

In a Threads post by user @mrsfeerosez, the original caption explained that the woman was not crying out of sadness, but out of happiness after successfully buying her father a new car.

Tears of joy for her father

Although it was “only” an Axia E, the caption congratulated her for being a filial daughter and encouraged others to leave prayers and well wishes for her continued rezeki.

Don’t join her crying, okay. She’s happy because she managed to buy her father a new car.”

In the video, the woman is seen tearing up near the newly purchased car. While she tries to hold back her emotions, it is clear that the moment means a lot to her.

The clip also shows her father smiling proudly and posing for photos with the new car, visibly happy with the gift from his daughter.

First car she bought, but not for herself

Speaking to WeirdKaya, the car salesperson revealed that this was the first time the woman had ever bought a car, and she does not even own one herself yet.

It’s her first time buying a car. She doesn’t even have a car for herself,” the salesperson shared.

According to the salesperson, the woman’s father is an ordinary village worker who is still supporting several younger siblings who are currently in school.

The salesperson added that she chose to prioritise her father first as she wanted to help ease his financial burden while he continues providing for the family.

What makes the story even more remarkable is that the woman reportedly earns only around RM2,000 a month and commutes to work by LRT.

I’ve had a few customers who bought cars for their parents before, but this one is very rare. Her salary is only RM2,000 and she goes to work by LRT. Yet her priority was her father first,” the salesperson added.

The heartwarming gesture has since drawn praise online, with many netizens leaving comments congratulating her and praying that she will be blessed with more sustenance for her filial act.
