In her confession, the anonymous woman revealed that she has been in a relationship with her boyfriend for two years and currently lives with him.
Over the past year, she has shouldered all their financial responsibilities—rent, utilities, food, travel, and fuel—while her boyfriend has been unemployed.
“I’m starting to feel a lot of pressure, and I can barely save any money each month, my savings are gradually dwindling.” she said.
Despite her tireless efforts to manage their expenses, including taking on part-time jobs to make ends meet, her boyfriend has not taken any steps towards securing employment.
When she suggests he look for work, he dismisses her concerns, asserting that while finding a job is easy, now is not the right time for him to start.
The woman expressed feelings of overwhelming unfairness, as she works hard to support both of them while her partner seems to take their situation for granted.
Her financial strain is compounded by dwindling savings and the difficulty of saving any money each month.
Caught in a difficult dilemma, she is reluctant to end the relationship as it would leave her boyfriend with nothing.
“But if I break up with him, he’ll be left with nothing, and I can’t bring myself to abandon him at this time. I really don’t know what to do.” she expressed in the post.
