While Japan is renowned for fish swimming in its drains, a similar incident recently happened in Malaysia, leaving netizens amazed and amused.
Recently, a Malaysian woman found an unusual discovery – big prawns crawling in the drain behind her house.

Posting it on her TikTok account, a woman shared a clip of large prawns crawling in the drain, leaving netizens puzzled and wondering how it’s possible.
“There are giant prawns in the drain outside my house.. huhuhu” she captioned the video.
In the short clip, around six large prawns were seen crawling in the drain water.
“It’s just for the content”
Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, the OP revealed that the video was created purely for content purposes.
“The prawns were not actually in the drain, but were placed there solely for TikTok content purposes,” she told us.
Happened in Perak, she further explained that after filming the video, she immediately took the prawns out from the drain and put them back into the pond.

This video has since gone viral, garnering over 1.1 million views with over nine hundred comments from netizens.

Some netizens jokingly said that they are on their way to celebrate Raya.

After witnessing this prawn swimming freely, some netizens are already pondering what to cook for later.
