“At around 12:15 PM, the victim placed her handbag in her shopping trolley while picking up items,” Cha explained.

“It was only later that she realised it was gone.”

Reviewing CCTV footage, the police identified a woman casually walking off with the handbag. The thief didn’t linger—she took the bag and made her exit.

The victim then lodged a report at 2:39 PM. Among the stolen items were personal documents, a tablet, a mobile phone, and cash, with losses totalling RM3,000, reported Berita Harian.
