How far would you go to make an anniversary memorable? In the case of a Malaysian woman’s anniversary surprise, it stood out so much that her video quickly racked up over 300k views and more than 25,000 likes.
The woman, Kamysstra, posted a video of her serving her husband 34 dishes she prepared, with a simple anniversary-themed setup in the background.
Her husband appears visibly surprised by the elaborate spread, and he looks full and delighted after trying everything she had made.
In her post, Kamysstra wrote: “34 dishes. 1 heart full of love”, with the 34 dishes being a tribute to her husband turning 34 years old,
She also stated that each dish was prepared with love and “love and worth every second in the kitchen”.

Spent 9 hours cooking on the actual day
Speaking to WeirdKaya, Kamysstra said the 34 dishes were a mix of snacks, starters, gravies, vegetarian and non-vegetarian items, rice, sides and desserts.
It included lamb shank roast, chicken malabar briyani, lala ginger, nandu rasam, mutton eeral peratal, gula Melaka sago, baked salmon slice, baked tuna fish, mutton kalekki, squid peratal, and potato balls.
She mentioned that she spent three to four hours the day before marinating and preparing all the ingredients.
On the day of the celebration itself, she began cooking at 10am and continued until 7pm, totaling nine hours in the kitchen.
‘Cooking is my love language’
When asked why she decided to prepare 34 dishes, Kamysstra explained that she wanted to mark their milestone anniversary in a meaningful way.
It’s our love anniversary, and he’s turning 34. I wanted to do something truly memorable for him. Cooking is my love language, so I made one dish for every year of his life,” she said.
She added that they celebrate their love anniversary every year and always try to make it special.
According to her, her husband did not expect such an elaborate surprise.
“He couldn’t believe I made 34 dishes in one day. He was shocked at first, then emotional and extremely appreciative. He kept saying it was the sweetest thing anyone has done for him.” she said.
Kamysstra also shared that she and her husband first started out as friends before gradually becoming closer.
“We eventually fell in love, and though we had ups and downs, we became stronger. Now with our little baby, our bond feels even deeper,” she said.
