Residents at a condominium in Tanjong Tokong, Penang, were jolted awake to the horrific news of a woman losing her life after she fell from the 11th floor yesterday (Apr 20).
According to photos circulating online and subsequently reported by Chinese news outlets such as Oriental Daily and Guang Ming Daily, it showed several security and medical staff gathering at the scene.
An ambulance was also spotted at the scene, along with the victim’s body being covered with a piece of cloth.

Northeast district police chief Assistant Commissioner Abdul Rozak Muhammad told NST that the police were alerted of the incident by the public at about 4.05pm.
“Initial investigation at the scene found that a 20-year-old local female was discovered dead at the ground level of the condominium.
“It is believed that the woman had fallen from her residence on the 11th floor of the same building. Investigation at the scene found no criminal elements involved,” he said.
The woman’s body was later sent to the Forensic Department at Penang Hospital for a post-mortem.
Police have classified the incident as a sudden death, and a Sudden Death Report (SDR) has been opened for further investigation.
