For most Malaysians, sitting for the practical exam in order to obtain a car or motorcycle licence is an extremely stressful experience as there’s no telling whether they’ll pass or flunk the exam.
For one woman in Sepang, hers turned into one of tragedy after she lost her life while in the midst of undergoing her motorcycle exam.
Lost control of motorcycle
In a Threads post shared by the victim’s older sibling, she wrote that the victim was sitting for her motorcycle exam at a driving school in Salak Tinggi, Sepang.
Unfortunately, she reportedly lost control of the motorcycle during the exam and subsequently died at the scene.
The victim was later laid to rest as her grieving family members looked on.
Family demands answers
Speaking to Kosmo! about the tragedy, the victim’s older sister, Amylia Ahmad Nazri, said she came to know of the tragedy from her niece, who was also sitting for her driving test at the same driving school.
She added that the only thing the family knows about the incident was that the victim suffered head injuries.
Amylia said the family hopes that a transparent and thorough investigation will be carried out to uncover what had transpired and led to the victim’s demise.
“We are handling this matter through official channels and leaving it to the authorities to conduct investigations.
“We are also seeking an explanation from the relevant parties as we weren’t informed promptly about the incident as well,” she said.
