How do you unsee something you never wanted to see in the first place? Asking for a friend.
And by friend, we mean this poor woman, who just wanted a chill staycation but ended up traumatised by an unexpected full-frontal experience.
What was supposed to be a fun holiday with friends quickly turned into a moment she’ll never forget, and not in a good way.
“She walked out of the toilet completely naked”

In a post shared on Threads, the woman recalled joining two female friends for a staycation, where all three of them were sharing the same room.
Things were going smoothly at first. One of the friends went out to get food, leaving the two of them alone in the hotel room.
That’s when the real drama began.
I was recording a video of the room. When I turned my phone, my friend suddenly walked out of the bathroom completely naked. Not even a bra or underwear.”
Startled, she yelled at her friend, asking why she was walking around with absolutely nothing on.
She said she was feeling hot. I told her, ‘The air-cond is already on. Go wear a towel or something.’”
She said it’s “normal” to be naked around female friends

At this point, you might think the friend would feel embarrassed. But instead, she doubled down.
The woman was shocked to learn that this wasn’t some one-off moment, but something her friend claimed she always did during girls’ trips.
She said it’s normal for her to walk around naked when she stays with her girl friends. I was like… there are really people like this?”
Although she eventually wrapped herself in a towel, the woman said the damage had already been done.
I was just enjoying the view, then suddenly I saw her pubic hair. I felt sick. That was the last time I ever went on vacation with her.”
“That’s not body confidence, that’s lack of basic respect”
Unsurprisingly, the post went viral and netizens didn’t hold back their thoughts either.
Some speculated about the friend’s intentions, while others shared similar awkward experiences of their own.
“When I was an athlete, other girls used to walk around naked all the time. I was culture shocked.”
“Your friend’s got no shame. No common sense either.”
“Even among girls, there are still parts of the body that need to be covered. Don’t make it weird.”
While a few tried to defend the idea of body confidence, most agreed that there’s a time and place, and that personal boundaries should always come first.
