A man in Ampang Jaya, Malaysia, says his life has been turned upside down after his ex-girlfriend from 30 years ago suddenly showed up accusing him of owing her money and began harassing his entire family.
Family photos defaced with “scammer” and “freeloader” words

According to the victim, Xie Wei Ming (literal transliteration), 48, the woman he briefly dated in 1996 reappeared in March this year claiming that he owed her RM1,500 which she said he borrowed back then to get his motorcycle license.
Not only did she demand repayment through text messages, but she also started posting photos of him and his family members online.
Reported by China Press, these photos were edited with words like “scammer” and “freeloader” to shame them publicly.
Xie said the situation escalated when she even turned his photo into a fake obituary to curse him.
Paint and even poop allegedly thrown at family homes

The victim claimed that in the past six months, the woman showed up at his and his parents’ homes multiple times and splashed both paint and feces on the property.
At least five such incidents were recorded.
He said the accusations kept changing too.
The amount she said I owed her started with RM1,500, then it became RM3,000, and later RM4,000,” Xie explained.
Victim denies borrowing money
Xie, who works as a driver, clarified that when he first met the woman back in 1996, he had already obtained his motorcycle license and never borrowed any money from her.
He added that both of them had long since moved on with their lives, got married, and had children before she suddenly reappeared this year.
Xie and his family held a press conference with the assistance of Assemblyman for Teratai, Yew Jia Haur, from the DAP to call for the harassment to stop.
He expressed that he sincerely hopes the woman will stop harassing him and his family so they can return to their normal lives.
