A woman has been praised as a “guardian angel” for her selfless act of helping a severely injured man following a motorcycle accident near the Tanjung Kupang toll plaza.
According to a viral Facebook post by a witness, the incident occurred yesterday (January 8) at around 6:40 pm. The accident reportedly involved two motorcycles, though the exact cause remains unclear.
Witness’ account of the accident
The witness recounted that two individuals were lying on the road when he passed the scene.
One appeared to have minor injuries, while the other—a 68-year-old man traveling from Singapore—was seriously injured.
The uncle had injuries on his face and hands, and blood wouldn’t stop flowing,” the witness wrote.
He noted that many motorcyclists returning from Singapore stopped to assist, helping to move the injured man’s motorcycle and relocating him to a safer spot.
The selfless act that moved onlookers
Among those who stopped to help, a woman stood out for her unwavering dedication to the injured man.

She used a handkerchief to wipe his wounds repeatedly, showing no hesitation despite the blood.
I don’t know who she is or where she’s from, but I believe she was sent by the heavens,” the witness wrote emotionally, describing how the woman cared for the injured man as if he were her own father.
“The uncle’s condition was severe. He was getting weaker and losing a lot of blood, almost passing out. But she refused to give up, doing her best to comfort him,” the witness added.

Despite her clothes and hands being stained with blood, the woman stayed by the injured man’s side until the ambulance arrived.
After the ambulance took the injured man to the hospital, a group of helpful motorcyclists loaded his motorcycle onto a four-wheel drive. Only then did the witness realize the woman had quietly left the scene.
