That’s exactly what Nia Syaqiera Sabri did for her husband, Mohamad Rahim Md Asri, on his birthday.
She gifted him a massive cash bouquet worth RM31,000, leaving everyone amazed by her thoughtfulness.
The extravagant gift wasn’t just about the money—it was a gesture packed with meaning, love, and gratitude for the sacrifices her husband has made throughout their nine years of marriage.

The RM31,000 bouquet wasn’t a random number.
It was a nod to her husband’s 31st birthday, which he celebrated on January 18.
For Nia, a beauty product entrepreneur, this was her way of making her husband feel truly special.
“This wasn’t something I just thought of overnight,” Nia explained.
“Last year, I gave him a replica cheque worth RM18,194, which represented his birthdate and birth year. After that, I started saving because I already knew I wanted to give him something even more meaningful this year.”
She kept the entire plan a secret. A week before his birthday, she placed an order for the bouquet, ensuring everything would be perfect.
Then, at the stroke of midnight, a designer arrived to deliver the gift.
“When he saw it, he was speechless. I could see how emotional he was—it made all the effort so worth it,” Nia said.
A gift he couldn’t keep to himself
What made this story even sweeter is what Mohamad Rahim did next.
Instead of keeping all the money, he decided to share it, reported Harian Metro.
He gave RM1,000 each to eight of his employees and even gifted some to Nia’s mum, his mother-in-law.
“He even tried giving some to me,” Nia said.
“Of course, I refused at first. But that’s just who he is—always so selfless.”
A husband worth celebrating
For Nia, the cash bouquet wasn’t about showing off. It was a way to thank her husband for everything he’s done for her and their family.
She reflected on how he stood by her in the toughest times.
In 2016, just two months after her father’s passing, Rahim married her despite financial struggles, and they opted for a simple nikah gantung ceremony.
“It wasn’t easy for either of us, but he never gave up on me. He’s been my rock ever since,” Nia shared.
And it doesn’t stop there. Rahim has been a constant source of support, helping Nia and her mother care for her brother with disabilities who lives with them.
“Men like him are so rare these days,” she said.
As the couple looks forward, Nia shared one hope she holds close to her heart.
“Every year on his birthday, I wish for the same thing—that I can gift him ‘two lines’ (a child). We haven’t been blessed with kids yet, but that’s what I pray for every year,” she said.
