That’s exactly what happened to a Malaysian woman recently, when a routine day turned into an unexpectedly emotional encounter with an OKU food delivery rider.
One such moment was captured and shared by TikTok user @ombaklindu, who posted a heartfelt video after meeting a delivery rider with visible physical limitations.
Her hope was to help ease any difficulty he might face with his vision
The woman behind the video, said she was deeply touched by his unwavering spirit.
She noticed how, even though he showed happiness on the outside, there was something in his eyes that moved her emotionally.
Out of kindness, she decided to gift him a pair of glasses. Her hope was to help ease any difficulty he might face with his vision, and to show that his efforts were seen and appreciated.
“Looking at Abang Panda’s face made me feel emotional,” she said.
Even though he appeared happy, my heart felt heavy. We treated him to glasses so his eyes wouldn’t struggle as much.”
For her, it made her realise just how much strength and thankfulness really mean.
“Abang Panda gave me strength and taught me more about what it means to be thankful,” she shared.
