A woman in Malaysia was shocked to discover glass shards mixed into her iced coffee after purchasing five packets from a local coffee shop.
When she poured the drinks into a container at home, she realized that the glass fragments closely resembled ice cubes, making them almost impossible to distinguish.
Fortunately, she inspected the drink before consuming it, avoiding a potentially serious injury.
Coffee shop denied any wrongdoing
The incident was shared on Facebook in the group 沙登乜都有, with the woman explaining when she brought the drinks home, she noticed two of the plastic bags had already been punctured and had coffee leaking out of them.
Initially, she thought the issue was due to poor-quality plastic, but upon closer inspection, she discovered sharp glass shards inside.

She confronted the coffee shop about the incident, but the staff denied any wrongdoing.
Police report made
She suspects that a glass cup may have accidentally shattered into the ice bucket, contaminating the ice supply. Instead of discarding the entire bucket, the shop may have continued using the ice, leading to the dangerous mix-up.
Many netizens expressed outrage over the incident, urging the woman to report it to the authorities.
Some even claimed that similar cases had occurred at the same coffee shop before.
Seri Kembangan state assemblywoman Wong Sze Kei confirmed that she had seen the viral post and that the woman had already filed a police report. The case is now under investigation.
