Whenever we place an order for a certain type of food, we would usually expect to only wait for several minutes for it to arrive, not months.
A woman was left sorely disappointed and fuming after she was made to wait several months for an order for ‘kambing perap’ (marinade lamb) she had placed at a popular Western food stall.
Placed order on Oct 2024
In a now-deleted post shared by the woman on Threads, she wrote that she had placed an order for the ‘kambing perap’ on October 2024, which cost her RM219.90.
However, her order never saw the light of day after months of waiting, causing her to demand for a refund.

“Because you are a well-established and well-known organisation, I will not forgive the money you owe me in this life or the hereafter.
“I’ve been waiting even before Ramadan began until the end of Syawal. Please look into this or refund me back my money!” she wrote.
M’sian woman finally gets lamb order after waiting 7 months
Fortunately, the woman’s post managed to reach the eyes and ears of the stall, where a staff member reached out to her via WhatsApp to understand the situation and resolve it.

The incident eventually came to a happy ending with the woman posting an update, where she showed her finally receiving the order she made seven months ago.
She also added the staff that reached out to her personally apologised to her for the long wait on behalf of the stall.

Despite the case being resolved, netizens expressed unhappiness over how the stall only sprung into action after the woman made the issue viral.

Meanwhile, one netizen suggested that the stall set up a system that generates a new email when dealing with complaints and feedback so that similar incidents won’t happen again.
