M’sian Woman Continues To Contact Ex-Husband Despite Being Caught In An Affair With Married Man

The final chapter isn’t quite as final as we’d like it to be.
Divorce is often considered the final chapter, but for some, it seems like the plot thickens long after the last page.

Such is the case for one man who thought he had closed the book on his marriage with an amicable Section 47 divorce, only to find that his ex-wife is still stirring up trouble.

M’sian woman won’t leave her ex-husband alone

After eight months apart, the man hoped to turn the page and start a new chapter. But his ex-wife’s ongoing attempts to contact him are like a sequel nobody asked for.

He had clearly stated that they should each go their separate ways, yet his request for peace seems to have been met with deaf ears.

Things took a twist when his ex-wife started throwing accusations like confetti, claiming that his aunt’s attitude had soured since their split.

Concerned about the allegations, the man went back to his hometown to get the scoop. However, his aunt was clueless about the drama, insisting she had never even popped by the ex-wife’s shop, reported Mstar.

“Recently, my ex-wife contacted me to ask why my aunt had become distant with her. I went back to my hometown and asked about it, but my aunt said she had never even visited her (the ex-wife’s) shop.

When the man confronted his ex-wife, she did a U-turn, denying the accusations and offering to “ketchup” as friends.

‘I said no to her ‘friendship’ request, because it doesn’t make sense’

But the man found this offer as puzzling as a plot twist in a telenovela, especially given the history between them.

Her request seemed more like an attempt to rewrite their past rather than a genuine gesture of reconciliation.

“I met with my ex-wife, and she denied it, then said she wanted to be friends with me. She doesn’t want to be enemies,” he said.

“I said no because it doesn’t make sense,” he explained, adding that their marriage ended after discovering her affair with another man—who, to add insult to injury, was also married.

“My ex-wife was caught having an affair with another man, who is also someone else’s husband.”

Their separation under Section 47 was meant to keep things straightforward and avoid a messy legal drama.

“During the divorce and after we separated, she and her family said many untrue things about me.

For your information, we divorced under Section 47 because I didn’t want to drag things out by filing for disobedience or seeking a divorce compensation.”

With no kids to keep them tied together, the man hoped they could both move on without any lingering strings.

The man’s saga has struck a chord with many online, drawing sympathy from those who understand that sometimes, even the most straightforward divorces can have a few unexpected twists.
