A Malaysian woman who works in the corporate sector has expressed deep disappointment over her husband’s baseless and serious accusation — claiming she committed adultery in their own home.
According to her social media post, the issue began when the couple’s home internet was down for a week.
Accused her for cheating
Her husband, described as short-tempered, was reportedly frustrated as he couldn’t watch television, leading to daily complaints.
I had tried to file a service complaint, but nothing worked. With help from a friend, I managed to get a technician to come over and fix the issue,” she wrote.
At the time, the woman was working from home (WFH), while her husband was at the office.
She clarified that she had informed her husband in advance about the technician’s visit.
However, a minor argument later escalated when her husband contacted her mother, accusing her of allowing another man into the house while he was away — even going so far as to imply that she had committed indecent acts.
Technician returned to retrieve a tool
The accusation stemmed from a misunderstanding when the technician returned briefly to retrieve a WiFi diagnostic tool he had accidentally left behind.
The woman explained that she had notified the technician that the device was placed outside the house in case he needed to come back for it.
Unfortunately, her husband arrived home just as the technician returned to collect the item, sparking suspicion.
Suddenly, he told my mother that maybe I had done something immoral in the house,” she said.
The woman, who has been married for 13 years, added that her husband has a habit of sharing their marital issues with both sides of the family. “I’ve always just kept quiet and tolerated it, but this time, the accusation is too serious. It’s slander,” she wrote.
