Everyone’s worst nightmare is when traffic lights stop working just when you’re in a rush to get somewhere.
But in this case, a kind stranger stepped in to ease the chaos, which caught the attention of both road users and a traffic police officer.

In a TikTok clip shared by @navinampang on Feb 2, it showed drivers getting stuck in a gridlock after the traffic lights malfunctioned .
Fortunately, a man decided to intervene by stepping into the middle of the intersection and began directing traffic so that cars could get on their way smoothly.

In fact, he was so focused on his impromptu task that he didn’t notice a traffic officer whipping out his handphone and recording him in action.

The video eventually gained widespread traction on TikTok, where it garnered over 668,000 views and hundreds of comments.
In the comment section, netizens expressed both admiration and amusement over the man’s dedication to his unofficial job and being filmed by an officer who was supposed to be directing traffic.
