We all love it when our teachers genuinely care for us, and this teacher shows us why.
A high school teacher called one of his students 21 times after the student didn’t show up for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) History paper.
Teachers’ desperate efforts to find the student
According to TikTok user “cikguhanomtaib,” who uploaded a video of the ordeal, students in the classroom were fully engrossed in their last-minute preparations for the exam.
However, one student was conspicuously absent, prompting a group of female teachers to spring into action.
The video shows the invigilators tirelessly searching for the student’s contact details and making multiple calls to the candidate and his family. With time running out, the tension in the room was palpable.

After several attempts, the teachers finally managed to contact the student’s mother, who confirmed that her son had already left home. However, instead of heading straight to the school, the student made an unexpected detour to a friend’s house, causing the delay.
Netizens’ reaction
The video has since gone viral, drawing attention to the dedication and concern shown by the teachers.
Netizens praised their efforts, noting their commitment to ensuring that no student missed the crucial exam.
“Amazing teachers!”

“My niece/nephew told me that their friend is the type who always comes late. School starts at 8, but they always arrive at 8:30, 8:45, or even 9. But because of SPM, their teacher met the parents and offered to let the student stay with the teacher to make sure they arrive on time.”

“Unpopular opinion. Just let that student face the consequences. When they reach university or work, they’ll still carry the same attitude. Let them realize early on how serious people shouldn’t behave like this.”
