A 29-year-old teacher at a religious school in Johor has been remanded by police for allegedly sexually assaulting two female students while imposing disciplinary action on them.
The seven-day remand order was issued by Magistrate Nurasidah A Rahman at the Batu Pahat Magistrate’s Court, where it’s slated to begin today until next Monday (Dec 1).
Told to remove clothing for spilling food
Kosmo reported that based on the police report filed by the victims, the incidents occurred on two separate occasions in 2023 and 2024, where they were instructed to cover their eyes with a handkerchief.

The suspect reportedly told the victims that it was a form of punishment for spilling chicken onto a table in his classroom.
While blindfolded, the victims were allegedly told to partially remove their clothing and sworn to secrecy by the suspect.
In the police report, one of the victims stated that this had happened many times, with the suspect calling her into the classroom when no other students were present.

After the report was lodged at the Batu Pahat District Police Headquarters (IPD) yesterday (Dec 25), police arrested the suspect on the same day.
The case is currently being probed under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act (AKKSTKK) 2017.
